Tristan’s 7+1: What I'm reading, watching, listening to, etc...

Hi ,
Anxiety loves an empty schedule and a full mind. The fastest way I've found to clear both isn't a big plan or a perfect system. It's working on one small thing every single day.
Chaos shrinks the moment you give your hands something to do and your attention something to point at. You don't think your way out of the noise. You work your way out of it, one honest hour at a time. 🩵
WHAT I’M EXCITED ABOUT
1-on-1 AI + Real Estate Coaching. — We're growing the AI coaching, and I couldn't be more fired up about it. We now have 1-on-1 coaching built specifically for AI plus real estate, so you get real strategy applied to your business, not theory. If that's something you want in on, just email me back and let me know. I'll take it from there.
BOOK I’M READING
Dungeon Crawler Carl by Matt Dinniman. — I just finished the first book in the series and I'm officially a big fan. It's hilarious, it's fast, and I genuinely couldn't put it down. If you love fantasy or sci-fi, this one's an instant classic and worth every minute.
WHAT I’M WATCHING
Mel Robbins with Seth Godin. — I just finished this episode and it's one of the best I've watched lately. Seth reminded me how important it is to simplify what you're doing and get crystal clear on who you're actually helping. If you feel scattered right now, this'll pull you back to what matters.
WHAT I’M LISTENING TO
Tim Ferriss with David Allen, The Art of Getting Things Done. — I took a ton of notes on this one. David Allen is the mind behind GTD, and the conversation is packed with practical ways to get everything out of your head and into a system you trust. If your brain feels overloaded, start here. I highly recommend it.
WHAT I JUST BOUGHT
Gel Pens. — I picked up a pack of gel pens and I love them, and the best part is they're not expensive. There's something about writing by hand with a pen that feels good that makes you want to plan more and think more clearly.
ARTICLE I’M READING
A Theory of Human Motivation by Abraham Maslow (1943). — I stumbled on Maslow's ideas in a book about the Depression, and that led me straight to his original paper. I've heard about his hierarchy of needs for years, but I'd never actually read the source. It's fascinating to see where it all started, in his own words.
WHAT TECH I’M TESTING OUT
Landvoice. — I've been using Landvoice a lot lately for expired listings. We're testing mailing to expireds through handwritten notes and tracking exactly how it performs, especially since we've got a special deal running through Lab Coat Agents. If you work expireds, this is worth watching how it plays out.
WHAT I’M WORKING ON
I've been refining a simple doc I call my Worry Brain Dump. At the end of each day I write down every worry on my mind, then I pick the one I want to tackle tomorrow or this week. I've done it in a journal for years, and now I'm finally building it into a clean template. If you want it, just shoot me an email at [email protected].
